Actual airflow depends on the system static pressure and fan performance curve. Lp is the manufacturer's stated sound pressure level.
FCP V ATEX DUST centrifugal roof fans with vertical discharge are installed above roof ventilation shafts for direct extraction or ducted industrial ventilation systems.
Vertical discharge directs extracted air upwards. Ensure adequate roof waterproofing and a sealed connection between the fan base or silencer and the supporting structure.
Installation diagrams and accessory combinations are available in the FCP V ATEX DUST catalogue (PDF). Accessory suitability for the classified explosive atmosphere must be assessed separately.
Electrical connections and motor protection must follow the selected model's technical data and manufacturer documentation. Three-phase versions may be speed-controlled with an inverter. Motors are equipped with PTC thermistors.
Before installation and commissioning, verify that the fan and motor ATEX markings are appropriate for the classified combustible dust atmosphere. The complete fan marking II 2D Ex h IIIB T135°C Db must not be confused with the motor's separate IIIC marking.
