Actual airflow depends on system static pressure and the fan performance curve. Lp is the manufacturer's stated sound pressure level.
FCP ATEX HYDROGEN centrifugal roof fans with horizontal discharge are installed on building roofs above ventilation shafts. They are suitable for direct extraction and ducted industrial ventilation systems.
Suitable waterproofing must be provided where the fan base or silencer meets the roof structure. Sealing must be continuous, uniform and free of openings.
Five installation examples using square and circular accessories are provided in the manufacturer's FCP ATEX HYDROGEN catalogue. Accessories are not included in the Type Examination Certificate and must be assessed separately for the intended application.
Electrical connections and motor protection must follow the selected model's specifications and the manufacturer's documentation. Three-phase motors support inverter speed control and are equipped with PTC thermistors for overheating protection.
Before installation and commissioning, verify the ATEX marking of the fan and motor against the hydrogen atmosphere classification of the installation site.
