T – three-phase motor; Pm – motor power; In – rated current; Q max – maximum airflow; LwA5 – sound power level with free inlet. The specific fan supply voltage is not stated in the catalogue performance tables.
The operating temperature range for DZD 50/6 is not specified separately in the catalogue description.
DZD Ex e explosion-proof axial roof fans are intended for installation on building roofs, with horizontal air discharge. They are suitable for potentially explosive gas and hydrogen atmospheres classified as Zones 1 and 2, in accordance with their ATEX and IECEx markings.
The mounting base must be selected according to the roof construction and the dimensions of the specific fan. The manufacturer offers SO bases for flat roofs, SOWT bases for corrugated and trapezoidal roofs and SDS bases for pitched roofs. SD silencers, SZ intermediate bases, ELA Ex flexible connections and SG safety grilles may be used where required.
The fans use three-phase asynchronous motors with integrated PTC thermistors for temperature monitoring. The manufacturer recommends MVS 6 or TMS thermistor protection devices for motor thermal protection. These devices must be installed outside potentially explosive areas.
Fan speed can be controlled using TR transformers, except for the DZD 35/2 B Ex e model. The fans can operate in reverse mode, but airflow is reduced by approximately 35% when the direction is reversed.
Detailed information on fan construction, operating conditions, dimensions, electrical protection and mounting accessories is provided in the manufacturer's technical catalogue.
