FCP V ATEX GAS – explosion-proof centrifugal roof fans with vertical discharge ≤30400 m³/h
DYNAIR FCP V ATEX GAS centrifugal roof fans with vertical air discharge are designed for industrial ventilation systems operating in potentially explosive gas atmospheres. The fans are manufactured in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and are intended for environments where explosive atmospheres may occur due to gases, vapours or mists.
The fans are installed on building roofs above ventilation shafts and are suitable for direct extraction and ducted ventilation systems. The vertical discharge design incorporates an additional ABS air conveyor and is particularly suitable for areas exposed to heavy rainfall.

Airflow values are taken from the manufacturer's catalogue. Actual airflow depends on the ventilation system's static pressure and the fan performance curve.
Lp – sound pressure level specified by the manufacturer.
FCP V ATEX GAS centrifugal roof fans are designed for installation on building roofs above ventilation shafts. They can be used for direct air extraction or in ducted industrial ventilation systems.
The vertical discharge design is particularly recommended for areas exposed to heavy rainfall, as it helps reduce the risk of rainwater entering the fan.
Suitable waterproofing systems must be used during installation to prevent water from penetrating the roof structure.
Particular attention must be paid to the contact between the fan base or the installed silencer and the supporting structure. The installer must ensure that the sealing is continuous, even and free from gaps.
According to the manufacturer's catalogue, FCP V ATEX GAS fans can be connected to accessories with square or circular cross-sections.
The manufacturer's catalogue provides five installation examples using different accessory combinations. The catalogue states that the accessories are not included in the type examination certificate.
Electrical connection and the selection of motor protection and control equipment must comply with the technical specifications of the selected model and the requirements applicable to equipment used in explosive atmospheres.
The speed of three-phase versions can be controlled using a frequency inverter. The motors are equipped with PTC thermistors for overheating protection.
Before installation, verify that the ATEX marking of the selected model is suitable for the intended operating environment and follow the manufacturer's installation and operating documentation.
