ATEX H₂ - explosion-proof fans for hydrogen
 
ATEX H₂ fans are designed for safe operation in hazardous areas where hydrogen (H₂) and air mixtures may occur. Hydrogen is an extremely light and highly flammable gas with a wide explosive range and very low ignition energy, which makes ventilation solutions in such environments particularly critical from a safety perspective.
 
ATEX H₂ fans are designed and certified in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and comply with EN 14986 and related standards. These solutions are intended for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas hazardous areas where hydrogen may be released during technological processes, charging systems, electrolysis or energy storage applications. During the design process, special attention is given to eliminating potential ignition sources by using certified Ex motors, non-sparking construction materials, controlled mechanical clearances and reliable temperature monitoring solutions.
 
ATEX H₂ fans ensure efficient and controlled removal of hydrogen from rooms, process enclosures or duct systems. Aerodynamic performance is selected to provide sufficient airflow and pressure to prevent the accumulation of hazardous gas concentrations, even under emergency conditions. Various design options, including axial, inline and centrifugal fans, allow precise adaptation to specific project requirements.
